Llandudno Top 7 photos

Updated: Aug 19, 2020

Have you ever think how would it be to live in your favourite holiday destination? I had this opportunity for 14 months, to live in Llandudno (North Wales, UK).

Llandudno life

Many people are visiting Llandudno for a holiday because it has much to offer and everyone will find favourite activity here. I was working and living in a hotel situated on the promenade. The weather is not always pleasant but the sunny days are worth to wait for. I visited countless times Great Orme, Little Orme, Happy Valley, West Coast, The Pier, took the ride in Cable car and Tramway. I enjoyed many breathtaking views offered by this location almost on daily basis. I would not be able to count how many times I bought cup of coffee and was just walking on Promenade. Llandudno has many hotels, tourists and its advantage is beside the beaches and all attractions that it has a perfect size (not too small - so you would get bored, nor too large - you would be overwhelmed). Llandudno hosts many events and live bands on the Promenade so you can enjoy it even more. It will not be a surprise that Llandudno has also many nice pubs where some of them have unforgettable atmosphere (of course I had my favourite ones The Albert, The Cottage Loaf and Kings Head).

Did you find all Hidden Gems?

Did you know about hidden gems in Llandudno? You can see during the Christmas season Santa's face on on the Little Orme which is also called by locals Christmas mountains. There is a little hill at the edge of Llandudno from where you can enjoy the view on the whole Llandudno and both Ormes at the same time. The hidden path at the edge of the Great Orme called Lovers Walk offering enjoyable walk along with amazing views. The little Orme is hiding a secret beach where you can see seals. Did you find all of Alice in Wonderland statues spread all around Llandudno? These few are just a tip of iceberg, the hidden gems of Llandudno.

Even more

It wasn't just Llandudno itself but many places around are also worth visiting. I can list a few such as Snowdonia National Park, Conwy, Betws y Coed, Colwyn Bae, Anglesey and many more.
